First Step Community Empowerment (FSCE) has partnered with the Regional Black Contractors Association, Dallas County Community College District (Cedar Valley College) and RR Connection Consulting Group to provide short term occupational training in high demand industries.  FSCE will work closely with employers in these business sectors based on demands/trends and preferred industry standard certificates/certifications. Areas of focus will include:

This training program evolved due to the need of skilled talent in the workforce.  The training provided is facilitated by professional and qualified Instructors based on the industry.  In return, the need-based training creates a work ready talent pool for employers.

The goal of the this program is to empower unemployed/underemployed and justice involved individuals with workforce development services, job placement assistance, short term industry related training and wrap around services that will lead to self-reliance.  FSCE work with Faith/Community-based organizations that refer unemployed/under-employed,  justice involved individuals and others for workforce development services.   The conceptual ideology is to build and address social equity, decrease recidivism, increase the tax revenues through employment that pay above the living wage and build communities with productive members of society.
